Original era manufacture. A very clean example, produced in a similar style as the Mills Contract, with loops for 45 .30 caliber bullets.  Comes with a cast brass US belt plate, referred to in some sources as the model 1886. Light age and wear.  Woven blue canvas, double loop belt with provisions for 100 rounds of rifle ammunition, and 12 rounds of pistol ammunition. There are two rivets on the bottom which once secured the brass sword suspension loop. Cast brass H-type US plate.
