Original period medal. US Spanish American War medal. Small brass souvenir type medal, suspended by a four leaf clover (4th Corps) insignia, with USV 8th Pennsylvania Infantry medal suspended from it. The reverse states a muster in date of 1898 at Camp Mt Gretna and a muster out date of 1899 at Camp McKenzie, Augusta, GA. Traces of red paint remain on the corps badge. Overall length measures 50 mm.
