Original era manufacture. US Spanish American ar, Philippine Congressional Medal which is numbered on its edge, No. 5727.According to the medal rolls, this medal was presented to France in 1920 for use in a museum display. Likely during that service, it had it's attaching pin removed, however the hinge mount and clasp where left intact.The medal displays a nice bronze patina to the planchet, the ribbon colors are strong with scattered areas of wear. A little over 6,000 of these were awarded.
