Original era manufacture. A good quality bronze medal with original ribbon and slot brooch suspension. Connecticut raised a number of units for service during, the war, several were sent to the south in preparation for service in Cuba and Puerto Rico, however none ever boarded a ship.Very clean, light age and wear.
