Original era manufacture. A simple brass ringwith hand stamped lettering, U.S.S.OREGON. Likely made from ship's brass. The USS Oregon (BB-3) was an Indiana class, pre-dreadnaught battleship launched in 1893. She fought in the Battle of Santiago in 1898, and served in many capacities with the US Navy, until finally sold as scrap to Japan in 1956.Her nickname was "The Bulldog of the Navy"
