Original period manufacture. A nice quality plaque which measures 10x13 inches with a fold-out leg prop on the reverse. The brass plate is decorated at the top with a five inch wide Command Pilots wing in silver washed copper. Engraved below is the wonderful poem by John Gillespie Magee Jr, "High Flight". Shows typical age and wear, great poem. From the estate of a USAF pilot who few supply/rescuemissions in Vietnam.
