Original era manufacture. This is a really great old hat from a USAF Photo Recon unit which served in Thailand during the Vietnam War.Theater made hat of green GI uniform material with a white cotton lining. On the front is an in-country made patch, 601 Photo with a USAF Technical Sergeant chevron below. On the top of the hat isan in-country Snoopy patch, and on the back top portion of the hat, a short time patch.Around the cap band are three strips of in-country made lettering; Takhli 69-70, Big John, and U-Tapao 71-72. Normal age and wear throughout. Hat size about a US 6 3/4 or 56.
