Original period manufacture. "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery", so goes the old saying and here is a perfect illustration of that tenet. Produced in Japan and sold in the USA, a pretty decent copy of the famed Gerber knives of the Vietnam War. This one was perhaps presented to somone as three initials, nicely done in  old English script, appear on both sides of the grip. The blade is nearly 7 inches in length with a two inch serrated section on both sides of the blade. Some Dolt of a previous owner tried to improve the surface by using a dremmel tool, but stopped or was stopped, before he got too crazy. Comes with its original black leather sheath.
