Original era manufacture. Reversible, brown to green, camouflage helmet cover, contract number DSA 100 70 C 0822, indicating manufacture in 1970. The cover shows service use and wear, with fraying around the edges where the cover would tuck up into the interior of the shell, and a triangular hole in the top fabric measuring 45 x 25 mm. Soldiers name "Acosta" written on the brown side. . Soiling and fading, but all expected to be seen on a service used cover.
