Original era manufacture. Unofficial medal struck to honor the service of the 12th Railway Engineer Regiment during WWI. Dark silver colored alloy medal which measures 30x40mm with a rainbow colored striped ribbon. Ribbon shows age fraying in spots, basically sound. The 12th Railway regiment operated a light rail system providing supplies directly to the front. They landed in France in August of 1917 and returned home in April of 1919.
