Original era manufacture. From an old local collection we are pleased to offer this nice lot of original insignia and photographs of Captain Oliver Kingston Collins, 1st Missouri Infantry.The lot includes his Campaign Hat, officers pattern cap cord, three pair of US, USR, and US Mo marked collar insignia, his crossed rifle collar insignia, a matched pair of Captain rank insignia, a single 2nd Lieutenant collar rank, a multi-piece construction Expert Rifleman badge, and two 5x8 sepia tone images of the Captain in uniform.Old handwritten note provides the identification. As stated previously, this is from the collection of a long time local collector, a man we have known personally for over 40 years. He was always very meticulous when it came to keeping names with groupings which came his way. Good basis for further research.
