Original era manufacture. Standard pattern WWI steel helmet, with a handpainted 2nd Division emblem on its front. The white star and Indian head appear on a blue shell shaped emblem, indicating the wearer belonged to the 3rd Battalion, 17th Field Artillery Regiment. Partial chinstrap, no liner, scuffing to the painted surface as shown.
