Original era manufacture. A nicely decorated brass shell casing displaying a design of roses around its body. Dark brass patina finish, with some minor scattered denting. Steel projectile which is empty of all explosives and drilled to accept brass extension rods to support light bulbs. This was either an unfinished project or a completed example taken apart to display as a complete projectile & casing. In any case the art work is well done, and the display effect is quite imposing with this large caliber round.
