Original era manufacture. Standard pattern M1917 steel helmet with a rough combat finish, and scattered areas of surface corrosion.Handpainted 91st Division emblem on the helmet's front. With a complete liner with adjusting tag in place. The leather chinstrap is all there, but broken on one side, almost looks to have been cut for some reason.During WWI the 91st fought in the St.Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne battles.
