Original era manufacture. US WWI trench art Field Artillery aluminum matchsafe.Engraved with 119/D Field Artillery designation. Names of three overseas campaigns engraved on the back and initials engraved into the spine. A full book of stick matches from The Ohio Match Co, resides inside the cover. During WWI, the 119th Field Artillery served with the 32nd Infantry Division.
