Original era manufacture. A very nicely decorated French .75 mm shell casing which stands 8.5 inches in height. What is most distinctive about this example is the large, 3-dimensional Engineer Castle which has been applied to one side. In addition, a nicely rendered figure of a marching Doughboy flanks the castle on one side, and on the other a tulip. At center is a horseshoe with a diamond at center marked AEF. Above the horseshoe is engraved the ladies name PEG, and below GOOD LUCK. Old brass patina finish.
