US WWI Army Issue Enlisted Visor Hat

Original period manufacture. Regulation pattern olive wool top and matching band with a russet brown leather chinstrap & visor with oilcloth edging. Tan cotton lining with a wide leather sweatband. The sweatband is secure and has the owners initials G.R.M. written in ink on it. The hat is very clean, no moth issues to report, just some light age and minor staining. These pattern hats are not all that common, more a feature of the pre-WWI army.
