Original era manufacture. Adopted from the British pattern in 1918, at the behest of General Pershing to conserve stocks of wool. Four internal pockets, with a full cotton lining, and a 1919 dated makers tag in the lining hem. US and Motor Transportation discs, honorable discharge stripe and a single overseas stripe on the left sleeve. On the right sleeve is MTC Sergeant chevron with a very nice wire embroidered MTC insignia. There are a very few, very minor moth bites, size about a 40 Long.
