Original era manufacture. Elegant, private purchase quality enlisted coat with an issue quality enlisted overseas cap. US & MG Crossed Rifles collar discs, each backed with red-blue wool felt discs, both of which have been hand stitched together using brown cotton thread. On the left shoulder is a 3rd Army SSI, honorable discharge stripe, one enlistment stripe and four overseas stripes.The right sleeve is blank. The overseas cap is of issue quality with tag size marked 6 3/8. On the left front is a US collar disc, also backed with red-blue felt which is also stitched together. There are handwritten accounting numbers inside the hat and the cuff of the left sleeve. Size about a 36, no moth issues.
