Original era manufacture. Private purchase quality, ribbed wool construction with a black silk lining and leather sweatband. Pinned to the left front of the hat is a false embroidered 2nd Lieutenant rank insignia.Minor mothing to the body, lightly soiled from wear and use, size about a 6 7/8.
