Original era manufacture. Nice quality private purchase cap of lightweight olive wool piped in maroon silk. Yellow silk lining and sweatband, with a retailers name of Meyers Military Shop Washington DC. Size marked 7 1/4. There are two small moth bites on the right side, nothing distracting.
