Original era manufacture. Olive wool gabardine coat and breeches of matching material. All buttons are present although two of the closure buttons need to be resewn. US officer pattern collar emblems, hand embroidered Captains rank on each shoulder, with a 1st Infantry Division SSI on the left shoulder. Two gold wire overseas stripes on the left cuff. There are a few minor spots of scattered moth bites but nothing severe. Coat is about a size 38 Long. As stated, matching material breeches, with a 30 inch waist, a proper measurement for the coat size. There is a small tear in the fabric below one of the belt loops, next to the watch pocket, with an L-shaped repair on the left knee area. Like the coat, no terrible moth issues. With the coat at the time of our purchase, is a WWI era officers Sam Browne belt, size marked 36. Dark brown leather with brass fittings, sound pliable condition.
