Original era manufacture. US Army Issue, US Signal Corps marked binoculars with a black lacquered brass frame, individually adjustable eyepieces and a range grid in the left lens. The optics are properly aligned, with some spotting to the surface.  The brown leather case is US Naval Gun Factory marked with a compass set into it's lid. When issued the compass had a removable brass disc cover, this is missing. There is a belt loop on the reverse of the case, wide enough to slip over a cartridge belt. The shoulder strap is present, with a leather covered 3-spring closure tab attached to the lid. The overall condition of the set is quite sound and clean, the defects would be the missing eyepiece covers/spacers, and the stretching out of the springs of the closure strap.
