US WWI Army Summer Enlisted Uniform Tunic & Breeches

Original period manufacture. A nice clean set which is named to the same individual. Light olive green cotton tunic with a complete set of buttons, Corporal chevrons on the right sleeve, Honorable Discharge Stripe and 3 Overseas Stripes on the left, Victory Medal ribbon above the upper left pocket. On the collar are enlisted US & Service School Detachment discs (unusual disc), these were on the tunic at the time of our purchase. Inside the collar is a handwritten name which looks to be GRUND. Matching material breeches with button closure legs instead of lacing. Same name writteninside the waistband. Over all the set is clean but there are a few stains from age and wear. Tunic size about a size 36.**Please note, the helmet is not included, shown for display only.
