Original era manufacture. Double snap Miller-Hexter marked canvas pouch dated 1918, which has been period overpainted with a thin green wash.  Inside is a 1916 dated brass cased Bauer & Black bandage. The brass bandage casing shows typical dings and dents from carrying, but it has not been opened. If I remember correctly, the green wash treatment was a period unit level experiment in early camouflage.
