Original era manufacture. Standard WWI British made helmet as issued to US  Doughboys during WWI. The helmet is complete with its original lining and chinstrap, with an original hand applied 27th Division emblem on the front. Known as O'ryan's Roughnecks, or the New York Division, they suffered the loss of 8, 334 casualties during their service in France during WWI.
