Original period manufacture. Standard model bayonet with a bright finished blade, with a line of bluing at the base of the blade. The blade is clean, showing only some light staining and darkening from a few spots of old cleaned corrosion.US Ordnance Bomb proof on the wooden grips, and on the leather scabbard throat. Canadian markings on the pommel, showing a date of 9-10.Very sound leather covered scabbard with an attached belt frog.
