Original period manufacture. Standard model bayonet with a mix of blue and steel patina finished blade. The blade is clean, showing only some light staining and darkening from a few spots of old cleaned corrosion, with evidence of service sharpening on the cutting edge US  proof on the wooden grips, and on the leather scabbard throat. Canadian markings on the pommel, showing a date of 5-09. Normal age and wear.
