Original era manufacture. Standard US WWI canteen set, canteen, cup and cover.  Fairly clear US stencil on the tan canvas body, no holes or tears, just some staining from service use. The bottom edge of the cover displays rubbing and fraying. The aluminum canteen is maker marked LF&C and dated 1918, the aluminum cup has a folding alloy handle, and is marked B.A. Co.. The cork washer inside the screw-off cap is missing.
