Original era manufacture. A very clean set consisting of a Russell marked belt and a Mills marked .45 magazine pouch. Both pieces are 1918 dated and display light service wear. The belt displays a handwritten number, 4392, which may be an indicator as issued during WWII. As the practice then was the initial of the soldier's last name, and the last four digits of his service number where written on his equipment for identification purposes.
