Original era manufacture. A tan canvas bag or statchel with stitch reinforcement on the lower portion of the bag front and back. US stencil on its front with a three snap closure system. Darkened brass snaphooks on the reverse for attaching to the rifleman's belt. Scattered spots of staining from use but no holes or tears.
