Original era manufacture. Rough texture finish exterior with an intact liner and repaired leather chinstrap. There is some scattered light denting to the helmets surface but nothing terrible, just what you would normally expect to see with one of these. Faint makers stamp on the inside of the lining, R.H.LONG but I cannot make out the date. The chinstrap is pliable but fragile and a small leather patch repair has been done to connect two broken ends together. Decent Doughboy helmet from the Great War.
