Original era manufacture. Standard US WWI steel helmet shell, American mfg, with most of its rough combat finish remaining intact. Very nice 101st Field Artillery regiment emblem at the front of the helmet. No liner or strap. Many thanks to Chris Arnold and his book "Painted Steel" for making it possible to identify this insignia.
