US WWI Doughboy Wool Puttees, Pair

Original era manufacture. Matched pair of olive wool puttees with gray cotton tie tapes. I unrolled each to check for moth damage, of course there were a few small bites, on one, and the other had some nibbling on the edge, most will disappear when worn, and invisible when rolled up. The good news is that at one end on each, is the original makers tag, H. Jacob & Sons, NY, with a 1918 date. We don't see that too often on these, usually they are unmarked.
