Original era manufacture. Olive brown wool, four-pocket enlisted coat as worn by Doughboys of the AEF during WWI. Contract tag in the hem, Sigmund Eisner Co, Philadelphia Depot 1917, size about a 40 regular. On the right sleeve is a Medical Department Corporal chevron, left cuff two overseas stripes. No real moth issues to report, just a few scattered small bites. All of the buttons appear to be original sewn, both collar hooks and both loops are present. Overall very clean condition. On the collar are original Medical Department and US discs, each flanked by an enameled Red Cross emblem. Can't say how long these have been on the coat but they were there when it was purchased by Terri and I. Written on the interior of the coat are two names, F. McBroom, Bat F, 68th CAC, and in two places J C Byrne 1st Company.
