Original era manufacture. Olive brown wool visor hat with darkened bronze insignia and buttons. Leather bound visor and adjustable chinstrap, the bound edge of the visor has a loose spot that needs to be glued down.The sweatband is securely sewn to the body of the hat, with a complete lining without tears or holes. Written on the underside of the sweatband is Karl Jester, Co. K, 13th Infantry, Camp Merritt.Overall the hat is quite sound without moth damage, the only issue being the sides of the hat are pushed in a bit on the back.
