Original era manufacture. A high quality bronze table medal made by the Medallic Art Company of New York, measuring 75 mm in width. The obverse depicts a soldier and sailor with For God & Country around the edge. The reverse details the statement of the American Legion School Award, Courage, Honor, Service, Leadership, Scholarship. In today's PC world these attributes would be mocked, not honored.
