Original era manufacture. A fine quality 1902 dress sword made by the Springfield Armory in Springfield Massachusetts. Chrome finished 34 inch blade with beautiful etched panels on each side of the blade. Running straight and true throughout its length, with zero corrosion issues or staining. No nicks in the cutting edge, no evidence of sharpening. Leather bumper at the base of the blade, with a nickel finished three branch guard, with the upper branch being slightly pushed down to touch the middle branch. Dark stained horn grip with no damage. Nickel finished alloy scabbard which is free of denting. A truly exceptional condition sword made by a Federal arsenal.
