Original era manufacture. Heavy, olive wool blanket with an embroidered U.S. at center on one side, woven dark wool stripe on each end as shown. There was an edge binding at one time on the ends, now most is missing. No real moth issues, there is a repairable, S-shaped tear in the body measuring  1.5 x 1.75 x 1.75 inches, another much smaller L-shaped tear, with a few smaller scattered holes. The blanket is clean, free of major staining, and the outline stitching of the original tag is present.
