Original period manufacture. Heavy brass casing, marked U.S. Engineer Corps on the top, Plan Ltd on the reverse, serial number 84102. Neuchatel Switzerland. The brass casing displays minor wear and use, dial lock mechanism on the side, and the arrow still points North.
