Original era manufacture. WWI pattern Cavalry tool with a galvanized steel body and teeth with a folding hoof pick and tan canvas hand strap, no US proof.Years ago we purchased a number of similar unmarked combs which belonged to the University of Arizona's ROTC program. UofA was founded in 1885 and the memory of Cavalry regiments stationed in Arizona was very fresh.This comb was also recently purchased in Tucson and quite likely was from the same source.
