Original era manufacture. WWI pattern Cavalry tool with a galvanized steel body and teeth with a folding hoof pick and tan canvas hand strap, no US proof.Years ago we purchased a number of similar unmarked combs which belonged to the University of Arizona's, being used in the school's  ROTC program. UofA was founded in 1885,  and the memory and heritage of the US cavalry regiments stationed in Arizona was very fresh.
