Original era manufacture. A well worn brown leather holster US leather .45 holster for mounted troops. Unit marked on the reverse of the brass swivel, 3 DC HQ 27. The holster is basically sound but does show age and wear. The stitching is sound, no dry rot, bit torn around the belt hook area. 1914 dated on the reverse so a good candidate for a Punitive Expedition or Border Service display.
