Original era manufacture. Collapsible pressed steel folding lantern with Mica glass clear panels. The lantern stands 9.75 inches in height with a folding bale handle. Patent information and company name on both sides of the top. This example is found with military markings as well, having a Medical caduceus pressed into the top.Overall the lantern displays normal age and wear, the mica panels  are intact, and overall the lantern appears usable, still has an unused candle inside. Patent date of 1908.
