Original era manufacture. My best guess as to the age of this nice old box, but certainly of a quality which reflects Tiffany's renowned reputation. Maroon leather covered box, with a silk lined lid with gilt lettering, and a matching color pad with a raised bar to hold a mounting pin in place. Minor scuffing to the lid exterior. Measures 5x3x1/2 inches. Operable brass lock button. A perfect case for a gold GAR Commanders Jewel.
