Original era manufacture. Heavy canvas pouch with a canvas and leather strap, used to carry magazines for the (in)famous French Chauchat automatic rifle. The canvas is sound, showing normal wear and use, and is marked on the reverse with the Doughboy's name and service number,John Havlik-SGT- 2182380.
