Original period manufacture. A complete example, which is named on the reverse of the carrying bag to C.G. Anderson in two places. The topmost naming also shows the letters US, MC, which we interpret to be US (Army) Medical Corps. The mask is all there, however as is typical for these the face piece has petrified from age, the flutter valve has broken away and lies in the bottom of the bag. The head harness is sound and not stretched out of shape, and the connecting hose amazingly remains soft and pliable. The demisting can is included, and the original instruction sheet is still attached.
