Original period manufacture Standard WWI US gasmask The face mask is fairly flexible as is the connecting hose and as always, the flutter valve is missing. The outside of the bag displays the soldiers and hand painted division insignia of the "Rolling W, or Middle West" division with red center, which is identified in the book "Painted Steel" by Chris Arnold, as 164th Artillery Brigade. Typical age and wear from service use.
