Original era manufacture. A very fine, identified canteen set, with a desirable, and rare, eagle snap closure canteen cover.  Damage free olive green canvas cover with a stenciled Ordnance Department bursting bomb on its front, above a stenciled U.S. On the reverse of the cover are the officers initials, and USNA.Standard aluminum bodied canteen which is unmarked, well used, WWI pattern aluminum cup.
