Original era manufacture. Oval silver disc with wrist chain, attached is a French 1916 date 1 Centime coin. Engraved on the face of he disc is Henry J. Simmerly A.E.F. U.S. Air Service. Ohio soldier, Henry Simmerly, born in 1899, served as a Private in the 149th Aero Squadron, and was stationed at Issoudon Aerodrome in France. He received an honorable discharge in 1919.
